POSITION PROFILE
Administrative Vetting Support position performs basic to complex research requests for incoming new clients utilizing systems provided by the customer. Must be able to memorize and apply guidelines for searching based on the nature of the request. Must be able to work with limited supervision and prioritize work to complete all requests in a timely manner.

LOCATION:  Maitland, FL 32751
HOURS:        Shift varies- must be able/willing to work 8:00-5:00pm; 9:00-6:00pm; or 10:00am-7:00pm Monday-Friday
PAY RATE:   $14.47/hr


Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research using Industry knowledge for corporate terms
  • Perform comprehensive research and preparation of reports on company and individual summaries based on research performed
  • Position used to research specific, high-profile customer clients
  • Could be specifically requested by managing partner
  • Responsibilities may include: running reports, maintaining database search engines, quality control, training, and comprehensive
  • Maintain professional communication with Administration, Attorneys, and Legal Assistants
  • Assist in initial review of incoming new client and/or new matter requests verifying data and researching corporate trees utilizing Hoover’s. Validate incoming data and provide direction for Conflicts Team Members.
  • Interact with customer to answer questions or update on status as needed. Employee will be assigned as liaison for client specific follow-up.
  • Assist with quality control of the work that leaves the conflicts department. Will be responsible for validating and/or approving new business intake information prior to sending to firm employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, And Certifications)

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, perform under tight time deadlines and flexibly adjust to changing priorities
  • Proficient computers skills and experience using office equipment (copier, scanners and multi-line phone system)
  • Ability to self manage and analyze information for client decision
  • High School diploma with 3 - 5 related work experience required
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certification strongly preferred
  • Law firm experience a plus (Paralegal, Library and/or Legal Research experience a plus)
  • Ability to type 55 WPM
