Supply Planner
Location: Keller, TX 76244

Scope of Position 
Responsible for aligning supply and demand for OCS global tier 1 contract manufacturers.
This position will work collaboratively with supply chain team, product line manager, and plant planners to plan and execute supply plans to optimize service delivery, cash flow and minimize liability. Responsible for administering S&OP to identify issues and develop and implement solutions.
Champions the development and management of Value Stream Maps for assigned product lines to drive continuous improvement.
Drives consistency and sharing of best practices related to supply planning. 

Day to Day Responsibilities: 
Responsible for managing S&OP process, long term capacity planning & communicating customer demand. 
Develop and deploy inventory strategies that align with OCS’ best practices & maximizes value
Manages and optimizes tier 1 contract manufacturers capacities based upon demand. 
Participate and support NAFTA’s Partnership Meeting (S&OP). 
Ensures effective communication with global counterparts to realize global flexibility. 
Coordinate activities with plant and global resources to maximize speed and flexibility. 
Support Demand Management meetings as required for products. 
Support development and execution of Supply Chain agility plans. 
Represent manufacturing in forecast consensus meeting to balance statistical forecast with commercial inputs. 
Work with forecasting team to provide best possible MPS/MRP plans to plant through SAP ERP. 
Assure effective implementation of planning strategies to optimize inventory and customer service metrics. 
Evaluate inventory stocking plans relative to actual inventory/service levels and work with tactical planner/buyers to adjust inventory stocking plans as needed. 
Support monthly RRSABC item reviews ensuring optimal MPS settings and inventory targets aligned to the project framework. 
Execute value stream map for key product lines from supplier to customer and drive resulting actions. 
Participates and support cost saving initiatives. 
Participates in product team meetings as required. 
Advise product team on critical considerations related to product life-cycle. 
Assist in the development of supply chain strategy and roadmap. 

Travel Requirements 

10% domestic and international - Mexico. Candidates need to have valid passports. 

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 
Full-time with the expectation to flex work schedule to support meetings & work in foreign time zones. 

Required Education: 
Bachelors’ Degree Required - Supply Chain major preferred 

Required Years and Area of Experience: 
5+ years of Supply Chain (Plan, Make, Source, Deliver, and Enable) Experience 
2+ years of Contract Manufacturing/OEM Experience 

Required Skills: 
Demonstrated proficiency in MPS/MRP planning in a modern ERP system 
Strong communication in a multi-national; multi-cultural environment 
Effective presentation skills; translating complex data into easy to understand actionable information 
Thorough understanding of all aspects of inventory management 
Ability to motivate a team daily and to achieve long term goals 
Ability to direct, manage, and work with diverse groups of people 
Ability to work independently in a dynamic business and manufacturing environment 
Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks 
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex process problems 
Ability to change priorities and tasks when necessary 
Ability to drive strategic vision for the Contract Manufacturing and APAC planning team 
Demonstrated ability to use LEAN techniques 
Strong SAP knowledge 

Desired Skills: 
MBA or equivalent 
Fluent/proficient in Spanish 
APICS Certification 

High speed manufacturing industry experience is a plus. Defense industry experience is not desirable. 

Contract manufacturing experience, understanding on contract manufacturing relationships is a plus
