Customer Service Representative - Chatsworth, CA

A manufacturer located in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a motivated individual to join our Customer Service Team!The Customer Service Account Representative serves as a key interface and provides an essential resource for our customers. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining good customer relationships from project coordination to problem solving with our products. Additionally, this candidate will work closely with various internal departments such as Sales, Production, Planning, Engineering and Accounting to achieve a very high level of customer satisfaction both internally and externally.

 PERFORMANCE STANDARDS FOR MANUFACTURING CUSTOMER SERVICE ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE:

 

  • Handle all types of projects from commercial, industrial and residential customers in a timely manner meets project deadlines and commitments
  • Timely fielding of in-bound calls to meet customer expectations in a fast-paced environment and be able to translate customers needs through understanding of our products at a basic level
  • Responds to customer emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Receives and process customer orders timely and accurately
  • Be able to work with the planning team to provide customers with accurate stock availability and delivery information and follow up timely as necessary
  • Work closely with Sales Representatives and Sales Managers to keep account activities and literatures up to date, facilitate building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Responsible for post sales, placements and repairs orders
  • Responsible for issuing RMAs and credits
  • Service established commercial and industrial customers as well as be a representative by providing information on our products and services

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience - INDUSTRY experience preferred
  • SAP skills preferred
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills via phone, email and in person are required
  • Knowledge and experience with our products and distribution is preferred
  • College degree preferred
