Purchasing Coordinator - Porter, TX

Advantage Resourcing is hiring for a Purchasing Coordinator to work in the Northeast Houston area!

The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy and will coordinate with multiple work groups.  This position will report to the Purchasing Manager.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience:

  • Must posses excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, statistical, math, and computer skills are required
  • Prior experience with MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
  • SAP experience
  • MRP experience
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the company
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years of RECENT, RELATED work experience
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing concrete variables with limited supervision
