Service Coordinator - Burbank, CA

Our client, a worldwide leader in passenger transport & elevator systems, operating locally in Burbank, is seeking a high-energy individual for a great opportunity as a Service Contract Coordinator. This position offers a tremendous opportunity for personal and professional growth working with a global leader in its industry.

The main duties and responbsibilities of a successful Service Contract Coordinator include:

•Receive State elevator inspection reports from property and facilities managers

•Review state-determined code violations and determine proper services for repairs

•Propose service options to customer for items/violations not covered in service contracts

•Provide regular communication to customer the status and scheduling timeline for repairs and follow-up servicing

•Prepare compliance documents for servicing mechanics and communicate status & scheduling

•Send completed documents providing proof of service to the State to show elevators are currently to code

•Must be a team player and work with clients, internal sales team members and company service technicians in a timely proficient manner

This great temp-to-hire opportunity requires someone to be very organized; detail-oriented; and possess the ability to work with a sense of urgency and recognize the importance of working on a state-mandated deadline effecting the safe operation of elevators in buildings in the area.

The most successful candidate will have the some or all of the following in their schooling and prior work history:

•High school diploma or GED (general education degree); or one year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training in basic business administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

•Some equipment or manufacturing administrative/customer support experience would be a big plus

•Good knowledge of Microsoft office software -- Outlook - Excel - Word
