Inside Sales Representative - Georgetown, TX

This position is located Northwest of Georgetown, Tx. It is a direct hire Pays up to $25/hr DOE Position Description: The Inside Customer Sales and Support person working in the Limestone Quarry industry, will be a key member of our team, responsible for revenue generation, order processing, production scheduling and transportation logistics. In addition, this employee will assist in pipeline development and reporting that will support the Company’s vision for growing our client base and accelerating growth. Essential Job Functions: · Field inquires. Bid jobs, occasionally providing some level of take off work to facilitate customer ordering · Coordinate production and delivery of samples (combination of digital, electronic, physical) including custom samples of particular sizes · Negotiate/coordinate payment terms with clients/prospects · Work with clients to optimize freight costs by locating, negotiating, and arranging freight, or coordinating with their designated internal/external freight providers · Enter Sales Orders/Purchase Orders into QuickBooks to capture order details · Analyze production schedule capacities and enter production tickets into QXpress, · Schedule and manage/coordinate production timing to match client expectations, especially important on large projects · Coordinate customer pick up when ready lead times · Review invoices as needed to assist with accurate billing · Communicate with customers regarding past due receivables to facilitate more timely collections · Host onsite clients/prospects, including walk-ins, to facilitate buying decision · Participate and interact with clients/prospects at tradeshows – TXMC, TSA · Conduct off-site client meetings at their offices and/or job sites to facilitate buying process including, sampling, product matching, and participating in/providing education regarding natural stone · Product matching, from other quarries, or unknown sources · Attend industry organizations (TXMC, CBUSA), to stay connected to prospects and industry news · Work with clients to optimize freight costs by locating, negotiating, and arranging freight, or coordinating with their designated internal/external freight providers Required Skills and Attributes: · Must have sales and customer support experience, preferably in building products and/or construction sciences segment. · Must be able to learn about natural stone and its uses in the building process. This includes the geology of types of stone, production abilities/limitations of different types of stone. · Demonstrated organizational skills and processes to ensure impeccable client follow-up. · Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, and team members. · Results driven-must demonstrate desire and ability to consistently meet or exceed targets. · Takes initiative, works effectively independently, self-motivator. · Analytical requirements to understand and communicate results and feed projections. · Proficient with tools, MS Excel and QuickBooks is a plus.
