Solderer Technician - Houston, TX

Now hiring for Soldering Technicians in the North, Northwest part of Houston and Heights area. These are full time TTH job opportunities.

Soldering Technician I

Brief Description: You will be cutting plastics with cutters, screwing on hardware, light soldering of wires, cutting units open and possibly gluing units shut using a 2 part epoxy.

Required experience

  • Must be able to utilize hand tools over and over to cut plastics with cutters. Squeezing the glue gun, etc.
  • Pay rate:
  • $13-14/hr
  • Shift/Hours:
  • 6am-4:30pm Monday through Friday
  • Saturdays as needed: 6am -12pm

Solderer Technician II

  • Solder 5 wires to a board and move on to the next board. Repetitive.
  • Not HMP, use regular "96" solder
  • 13-14/hr.
  • North Houston
  • 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday Saturdays when needed 6AM-12:00PM
  • Length: Temp-Hire

HMP Solderer

  • Temp to hire
  • $14-16/hr depending on skill level
  • Needing 3 people
  • Must have experience with HMP soldering  (high melt point)
  • Read blue prints
  • Read BOMS, Component ID, and verify value
  • Soldering test given during interview
  • Read English, but not important to speak it perfectly
  • Fast paced environment
  • Wants someone to take ownership of their boards and their work
  • Someone who is okay with changing gears mid project to work on an ASAP project
  • Someone who has worked on boards all day – several employees came from Innova
  • Hours are 6am-2:30pm, but can work 5am-1:30pm. Currently most people are working 6am-3:30pm
  • Saturdays and OT as needed
  • Allowed to listen to their iPod/phone via headphones

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
