Inside Sales - Costa Mesa, CA

Manufacturing company seeks Inside Sales for a Direct Hire Opportunity.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, supports all product managers, field sales representatives, agents, and customers with sales related support; enter orders, evaluates and issues return authorizations, quote items prices, receives and responds to customer inquiries, expedites order and resolves customer issues; performs related duties and projects, as assigned.

 Duties and Responsibilities: • Answers and directs incoming calls; • Handles the RMA process through the system providing feedback to the sales team; • Knowledgeable with all product lines; • processes new products through the system; • Handles and manages expedited orders on a daily basis within the system for key accounts; • Creates and manages special pricing and margin analysis; • Knowledgeable with literature requirements; • Independently assists manager with controlling the NED marketing process; • Completes special research projects, as assigned; • Trains co-workers on internal operating systems (including, but not limited to ERP, file sharing, and accounting order entry) related to manufacturing, sales, and engineering; • Gives factory tours for outside visitors; • Advises customers and sales team of technical limitations of our product lines in order to make selections for special applications; • Confers with private label vendors in making decisions for correct applications usage; • Becomes proficient in providing documentation packages to support all products; • Initiates and maintains open communications and dialogue with internal and external contacts; • Assists with coordination of logistical aspects of shipments as needed; • Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position; and • Fully comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations.

QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES: Any combination equivalent of, but not limited to, the following: Experience/Training/Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; with sales or customer relations experience.
