Office Coordinator/Tax Assistant

Great North Shore CPA Firm seeking an office coordinator/tax assistant for their tax department.  This individual will assist the tax department by preparing all current year tax files and as the work is received, also data entry to prepare tax forms and reports for clients. Maintain file system and capacity and assures all file boxes for storage are marked correctly. Follows up w/ clients via email on the status of tax process from start to finish and assures smooth and efficient flow of tax work to clients.  You will meet with all new tax clients to assure forms and documents and documents are in order.

This position is also back up support to the Front Desk Coordinator:

Must have organizational skills that will aid in the multitasking of several assignments at one time and have the understanding of deadlines and completing work on a timely basis.
