Assembler Heat Pump Line - Nashville, TN

1s shift:Tuesday-Friday 5am-3:30pm

OT on Mondays if needed (10 hour shifts)

Assembler I POSITION SUMMARY On floor, bench or conveyor line, performs highly diversified and very intricate assembly operations on a variety of large and small-complicated assemblies to rigid tolerance requirements. Lays out a determined operation sequence. Accurate scraping, aligning, and fitting is required. Performs a range of operations including tapping, drilling, reaming, pipefitting, shimming, etc.

Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of Works under general supervision. Each station has standard work posted. Each assembler must be able to read and grasp the concept of their standard work. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment requires hearing protection at all times, as well as safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoes.
