Press Operator - New Albany, IN

Primary Responsibilities Press Operation: Responsible for all activities associated with running the various machines below including setup, operation, cleanup, and daily maintenance. Flexographic Printer/Slotter Rotary Die Cutter Flatbed Die Cutter Quality Control: The Bethlehem Press Operator is responsible for producing quality products per set standards for each kit/product. They must perform quality checks and verify that product is acceptable for sale to the customer. They are responsible for checking that work orders are completed correctly and accurately and to note any discrepancies or problems with the production run, notifying manager as needed of any issues. General Warehouse Duties: The Bethlehem Press Operator is responsible for general warehouse duties, such as keeping the warehouse clean, neat and orderly. They may also assist in other warehouse areas as needed. Every worker is responsible for maintaining warehouse stock in the correct location in a clean and organized fashion. Qualifications: The ability to understand directions. Ability to stick to work task plan with minimal direction from supervisor using efficient time management. Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 70 pounds. Ability to do appropriate paperwork. Ability to seek direction when necessary. Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with other employees. Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Work Experience: • Minimum 3 years as a press operator. • Preferred experience on one or all of the following: • Flexographic Printer/Slotter • Rotary Die Cutter • Flatbed Cutter • Forklift Operation experience desirable
