VP of Sales - North Smithfield, RI
We are looking for a professional, experienced VP of Sales for a company located in North Smithfield, RI.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecast to achieve company objectives for products and services.
- Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the height possible long-term market share.
- Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to present standards and industry and economic trends.
- Monitor competitor products, sales activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influences and key strategic partners.
- Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs.
- Direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.
- Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Analyze and control expenditures of department to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with 5+ years related experience with managerial responsibilites.
- Travel 25% of the time
