REPORTS TO:   Warehouse Manager



JOB SUMMARY: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility.  This role will serve to track incoming and outbound product.  The Shipping Clerk will also monitor inventory levels and product movement.


  • Create and maintain shipping records
  • Uses computer systems to prepare shipping papers, bills of lading, and packing lists
  • Use computer software to schedule pickups and input shipping data including all shipping transactions
  • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and trace missing or lost shipments
  • Process records of inbound materials using computer ERP system
  • Inspect incoming shipments, unpack incoming shipments and record shortages and reject damaged items
  • Regularly enter inventory data, perform cycle counts, communicate discrepancies
  • Other duties as assigned
