ERP System Administrator


A global manufacturing company is looking for an experienced SystemAdministrator located in Torrance, CA to supports, maintains, and enhances the group company-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, under the direction of the Global IT Manager. Responsibility includes configuration/setup, administration, documentation and implementation of solution definition and associated strategy that drives towards simplification and standardization of processes, data, systems and integration to support business functions.

Essential Job Duties (Not Official: Please ask for more details during the interview)

Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics design, custom configuration, integration

Manage user access and administer security rights and user/group roles

Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and resolve Dynamics 365 Operations/ERP issues for technical end user support (L1 & L2)

Monitor the application stack performance, storage usage & archive as needed

Coordinate maintenance and support tickets with Microsoft & 3rd party vendors

Identify continuous improvement opportunities for assigned systems and processes

Play a key role as a Microsoft Dynamics technical expert and system administrator

Provide support for internal user base, respond to all helpdesk/system administration issues.

Support internal IT staff of each subsidiaries with daily helpdesk/sysadmin tasks and projects.

Workstation, server and network systems functional support

Clear and complete documentation of task requirements and procedures

Champion new projects and tasks to completion.

Working in a heterogeneous and fast paced environment.

5+ years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of Cloud platform and ERP applications, ideally with Dynamics and Office 365 as an administrator (implementer, preferred but not required)

A self-driven individual, fast learner, and can work within teams and independently

Strong service-oriented skills including excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to train/share knowledge with users and other IT team members

Ability to provide data center and server management including storage, networking, and security support
