Inventory Control / Materials Support Admin 

We are currently seeking an Inventory Control / Materials Support Admin for a 6-month (possible extensions) contractual opportunity with our client in Greensboro, NC.

Excel assessment test will need to be conducted and completed.


  • Responsible for shop floor control including maintenance of Oracle inventory systems, root cause analysis and corrective action of BOM issues. Create and maintains reporting.
  • Able to develop processes and understand the financial impact of actions.
  • Review work orders in Oracle for material shortages and BOM usage issues.
  • Coordinate Oracle BOM issues with PE, EC Coordinator, Production, Planning, Materials (Cycle Count/Buyers).
  • Facilitate Cross Functional meetings for Oracle BOM Issues.
  • Interface with all levels of managers within company
  • Understand Inventory Adjustments.
  • Develop Oracle Processes, update current processes
  • Develop Oracle Reports, working with BI Super Users.
  • Work with 3PL on Line Side Replenishment.
  • Monitor SOS items, Document frequency of part numbers, and analyze for optimal delivery method.
  • Direct Shop Control - Admin for Research and Work Order Integrity.
  • Oracle Work Order Maintenance to support BOM issue resolution.
  • Identify parts through Drawings with the ability to understand simple measurements.

Required Skills:

  • Three (3) years of experience in an inventory control role
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Must have experience with VLOOKUP and PIVOT TABLES
  • Inventory/buyer/planner experience required.
  • Experience with all bill of materials is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer skills - ERP system (Oracle preferred) Microsoft Suite with proficiency in MS Excel and Access.
  • Experience with BOM structure, inventory analysis and financial impacts.
  • Familiar with part schematics, ability to read simple measurements.
  • Ability to self-manage.
