Sales Specialist - New York, NY
We are currently seeking a Sales Specialist for a 12 month contractual opportunity with our client in New York, NY (10011). The qualified candidate will support on-going sales and product training for the reseller Account Managers; identify new opportunities together with the Account Managers in their customer base and provide day-to-day support to resolve questions and issues. Frequent communication with the other stakeholders working with reseller to plan new initiatives and resolve issues. He/she will also participate in weekly meetings and monthly business reviews between client and reseller; will be the main point of contact from on-site and help create and implement new initiatives.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue to meet and exceed targets.
- Regularly review sales with the Account Managers
- Coach Account Managers on selling G Suite/GCP to help progress opportunities through the sales cycle, from initial qualification to close.
- BA Degree in a related industry (Marketing, Business Administration, Sales Management, etc.)
- Must have 3-4 years of relevant experience selling SaaS or similar software as a service technology.
- An in-depth knowledge of GSuite as end user and basic understanding of the administrative capabilities and features of the product (Gmail, Docs, Spreadsheets, etc.).
- Ability to quickly build rapport with senior sales reps and sales management.
- Ability to navigate a complex sales environment and bridge conversations on different levels of the organization.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Desired Skills (not required):
- Ideally experience in emerging markets and working with Telcos.
- Ability to organize work independently and meet agreed upon timelines.
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to act quickly and effectively.
