Ensures optimum IT infrastructure performance and integrity. Ensures consistency and synchronization across infrastructure components. Ensures performance optimization, and maintenance by following operational procedures for maintaining and upgrading technology as required. Involved in supporting new and existing applications. Works with other IT groups and business units, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems. Principal responsibilities include:
- Deploys new IT infrastructure architecture based on approved designs
- Drives problem resolutions that have been escalated
- Implements fixes for performance issues
- Participates on cross functional teams to assist in design IT infrastructure architecture
- Strong understanding and competence in virtual computing environment
- Utilizes technical knowledge in cross-functional and intra-departmental efforts
JOB SCOPE: • Responsible for engineering activities that maintain and enhance the companys Directory Services platforms and the associated applications and services. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems and LDAP platforms (Radiant Logic, Active Directory).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work with customers to configure and migrate LDAP based applications from Active Directory to Radiant Logic • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience • Coordinates with internal departments to review existing integration capabilities, data sources, and proposed solution designs for functionality • Participates in design sessions with appropriate architects and engineers • Creates detailed design documents and functional specifications for applications / services and for enhancements to existing systems / services • Collaborates to create configuration designs for design and implementation of various environments • Installs, administers, configures and maintains Directory Services applications including operating systems and related software • Provides support to resolve Directory Services platform issues • Uses established change management processes, requiring operational procedures be performed with minimal customer impact • Documents systems configurations and upgrades • Monitors and assists in managing applications, device availability, network conditions and status, system reliability and performance, service and program maintenance and storage resources
BASIC/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of two (2) years of Enterprise Application Integration experience • Minimum of two (2) years of Systems administration experience • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: • Basic knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology, including TCP/IP • Ability to perform duties in a very fast-pace environment and ability to learn new technology quickly • In-depth knowledge of LDAP tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Knowledge of Active Directory LDAP • Knowledge of Radiant Logic FID (Virtual Directory)
