Purpose of Position

Manage daily support for import/export movement of goods and equipment and issues related to trade compliance. Direct personnel on TC regulatory matters.

Major Responsibilities of the position

• Manage imports/exports from 3rd parties, related sites and contract manufacturers
• Assign HTS and ECCN to raw materials, finished goods and equipment
• Provide consultation to product teams and plants on issues related to import/export
• Analysis of export control screening results & resolution of items discovered during screening including licensing
• Assure compliance and minimize risk related to Import/Export
• Ensure that client is managing cost and savings opportunities
• Provide consultation to BU personnel on export and licensing requirements

Expectations of Role

• Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organizations objectives and schedules
• Achieve results on internal and external compliance projects
• Support regional and global TC initiatives
• Engage internal and external resources required to effectively support Export initiatives.

Complex Decisions

• Manage and execute key projects required to maintain a high level of performance on internal and external compliance trade compliance
• Support deadlines and schedules working with other functional groups

Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Education: Bachelor Degree, Licensed Customs Broker preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of Import/Export Experience with extensive knowledge of Export Control
