Job Title: Service Now Analyst
Duration: 12 months with possible extension and/or conversion
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participate in process flow analysis and process design.
- Share best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design of the projects.
- Produce a detailed functional design document to match business requirements.
- Co-team with the Enterprise Apps to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements.
- Participate in projects as required.
- Maintain current ServiceNow knowledge through self-study and utilization of available training.
- Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM technologies.
- Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs.
- Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations and priorities.
- Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities.
- Must possess strong knowledge of Service Now reporting.
- Possess expert knowledge of developing and administering ServiceNow platform.
- Experience implementing or knowledge of: CMDB, Discovery, Incident, Problem, Change, PPM, GRC, SDLC, HR, Performance Analytics, Hardware and Software Asset Management, Service Portal, Service Catalog, Orchestration, ITOM, Security Operations, Demand Management and automations.
- Experience with leading Service Now implementation and upgrades.
- 3-5 years’ experience required on solution developing and administering on Service Now platform.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
