Position : Finance Controller / Analyst 
Location : Branchburg, NJ  08876
Days /Shift times: M- F 9am - 5pm 
Duration : 7 months contract 
Will this role convert to full time: Possibility 

Assists the leading corporate accounting and financial activities of the company. Preparation of consolidated financial statements; external reporting and internal reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors. Ensures accounting and internal financial controls are adequate and reasonable, timely and in compliance with IFRS, and all other legal, regulatory, and Company policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities :
Performs accurate and timely preparation, maintenance, and reporting of monthly and year-end financial statements that summarize and forecast the Companys consolidated financial activity and position. 
Directs and maintains effective internal controls to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the financial statements. 
Financial analysis, general accounting, consolidation of subsidiaries and treasury functions. 
Maintains financial staff results by coaching, counseling, and developing employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. 
Develops and implements effective accounting strategies, policies, and procedures in compliance with IFRS, evolving regulations, legal requirements, and industry practices. Continually evaluates and updates policies and procedures as necessary. 
Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data. 
Complies with all legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions. 
Oversees the reconciliation of all corporate balance sheet accounts by reviewing all balance sheet activity and account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness. Test accounts for reasonableness. 
Works with outside auditors to complete annual audit/tax reporting. 
Coordinates the tax reporting requirements for the company, ensuring all deadlines and timeframes are met. 
Interfaces with other functional managers in the organization. Assists with special projects by providing assistance with analysis. 
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 
Ensures that the Companys financial reputation is maintained. Insists on appropriate levels of confidentiality within the department and exhibits the highest degree of personal and professional integrity at all times, consistent with the Companys Core Values. 
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 

Required Qualifications: 
Bachelors degree in Accounting; CPA and/or MBA preferred 
Minimum 7 years senior financial/accounting experience with 2-4 years public accounting preferred 
Hands-on experience in multi-entity international environment with solid consolidation/international tax experience 
Tax compliance and reporting experience 
Strong working knowledge of IFRS 
Strong analytical/technical skills 
Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills 
Supervisory experience 
Experience with enterprise wide system in a manufacturing environment 
Demonstrates initiative, strategic thinking, sound reasoning, business acumen, and analytical skills
