Material Handler day shift- Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm

 

Material Handler- 2nd shift- Monday – Friday Noon- 8pm

 

Location: Westminster MD.

 

2 Immediate positions.

Participates in physical inventories of warehouse.

  • 40% of time -Operates a computer and or RF scanner to access, enter, and correct information in the SAP operating system.10%-15% of time, May be required to operate material handling equipment such as forklift or hand truck. Puts away, or stocks materials into assigned warehouse locations. Must be willing work overtime and alternate shifts determined by changes in workload demand. Assists with identifying and or providing suggestions regarding process improvements in assigned area. Demonstrate a willingness to be cross trained in multiple areas of warehouse operations

 Context of Work/ Working Conditions: The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc.  The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. The employee will be required to perform duties on a computer terminal

10% of time Safety-Works in a safe and efficient manner. Respects and complies with all environmental health & safety Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards Keeps assigned area clean free of clutter at all times. Supports the company 5S program. Notifies the Supervisor of any safety related issues found while performing their job.

 

25% of time Quality Accuracy of material and job performance is required. Utilizes Production System (KPS) or Business Process Manuals (BPM) standards as instructed by Supervisor Contributes to obtaining the goals of quality measurements identified through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Receiving, Order filling, Internal Deliveries, and Shipping etc… as required

 

15%of time Delivery: Strives to be as efficient as possible to complete assigned tasks. Works directly with Cell Leader to obtain assignment completion goals / expectations,

5% of timeCost: Continuously strives to identify cost reduction opportunities throughout the warehouse operations. Supports Company centralized cost reduction initiatives regarding

5% of time Personnel :Follows company policies, safety regulations, area standard practices, etc…
