Specific Responsibilities for this Job Assignment:

  • Fill the role of the HLST (Home Lending Servicing Technology) STEPS Technology Delivery Lead. The WFHL Servicing STEPS (Servicing Transformation Effort and Platform Strategy) program is the top strategic initiative within Home Lending Servicing and HLST for 2017. It includes the consolidation of Technology Servicing Systems of Record and all affiliated Home Lending products into the primary WFHL SOR (MSP).
  • The System of Record consolidation includes the migration of the WFHE Closed Lines of Credit, Investor Held portfolio, WFF SUPREME portfolio, WMSA/512 portfolio and WFHE LOC portfolios residing on FDR. This program is highly complex with multiple LOB, Vendor (BKFS and FDR) and Technology groups involved. It is estimated that the work will span into 2018
  • The Technology Delivery Lead is responsible for:
  • Acting as liaison between HLST and the WFHL Servicing STEPS Program team
  • Partners with HLST application/testing teams to drive technology execution and deliverables to meet business requirements and expectations
  • Ensures technology designs, solutions and implementations are in alignment with HLST technology roadmap and overall EIT expectations
  • Influences technology selection/direction by gathering and reviewing requirements, working with required business, technology and vendor partners to determine if standard solution will work or if custom solution is necessary and recommending the best option
  • Provides guidance to HLST application/testing teams on leveraging new technology capabilities and works to recommend cost-effective solutions to business partners
  • Partners with HLST application/testing teams and third party vendors to effectively manage program impacts resulting from new and existing projects (such as regulatory and compliance initiatives)
  • Coordinates and supports HLST deliverables for multiple application/testing teams across all phases of the software development life cycle; including functional system designs, code builds, testing and implementation. Drives timely execution to meet project timelines
  • Develops Technology Contingency Plan (Roll Back Plan/Fall Forward Plan). Partner with multiple business, technology and vendor teams to develop and test contingency plans
  • Partners with HLST teams, business teams and third party vendors to develop and execute End-to-End testing plans
  • Works with System of Record technology teams (for WFF SUPREME, WMSA/512 and WFHE LOC portfolios) to support loan conversion activities and drive execution
  • Maintains regular contact with all HLST application/testing teams and Servicing STEPS project management teams
  • Experience with large scale conversions including risk, compliance and audit considerations
  • Excellent communication, judgment and organizational skills. Proven ability to work with all levels of program/project teams including Senior Management. Proven ability to successfully lead cross-functional business and technical teams in a collaborative, team environment.
