Job Description:



  • Set up and manage Field Quality Engineering Manager Group to investigate Automotive parts issues on site with Corporate office and Field Service Engineer and Field Technical Supervisor. Manage Field Quality Engineering Manager Group  to provide product, technical, diagnostic and troubleshooting assistance to support Corporate office and field offices.   
  • Provide guidance and training to all Field Quality Engineers to accomplish their task and to be instrumental in problem recognition, on site data collection and writing Field Quality Engineer Reports. Develop professional working relationships with all division of the company, and interact with Field Service Engineer, and Corporate office.  Model line Engineer, Automotive System Engineer, Field Technical Supervisor, and All Platform Engineers as needed to assist in investigating issues on automotive  parts, in improving automotive part quality, and to reduce claims on automotive part so that increase Customer Satisfaction and dealer’s capability to fix the issues right time and right way. 
  • Discuss issues and concerns, offer solutions, and develop programs and action plans tailored to the needs of all divisions.  Participate Field Quality Employees meeting every week and participate Field Engineering seminar if needed for this purpose.  Monitor and review Field Quality Engineer Reports, to prevent legal issues against all division of the company, and train FQE as required for that purpose.


Job Requirements:


  • Monitor and report quality problems from the field by reviewing Field Quality Engineer Reports and FQE weekly reports on an ongoing basis to detect new systematic product problems and to verify the effectiveness of countermeasures taken against known problems,
  • Work closely with coordinator in Quality Assurance  and worldwide Field Quality Management Group in Head Quarter and Field Quality
  • Analysis & Reporting Groups regarding field product issues in Korea, EU, China and India.
  • Conduct dealer visits as required to support FQE’s investigation of issues on Automotive parts, and to analyze and monitor the effectiveness of countermeasures and implementation of recommended technical procedures and their effectiveness and to implement changes to Automotive  part service recommendations if needed.
  • Responsible to ensure each Field Quality Engineer is equipped with the proper tools and diag nostic equipment required to effectively to perform assigned duties. Responsible to ensure each FQE attains and maintains highest achievable technical knowledge
  • Effectively coach, counsel, and develop staff. Utilize the diverse talents of the staff by efficiently managing staff’s time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
  • Able to apply the methods used to control multiple projects including prioritizing, tracking, follow-ups and follow-through
