Senior Compensation Analyst - Princeton, NJ

Job Description:

The Senior Compensation Analyst will work with the Director of Total Rewards as well as other Human Resources stakeholders and business teams to support the design, development, implementation and administration of our Global Total Rewards programs. This role will also make recommendations regarding employee compensation, FLSA status, job levels, and provide guidance to internal clients on various compensation issues. In addition, the role will manage the administration of the annual focal review process and annual salary survey submissions. This role will work on special reward projects and analysis as needed such as process improvement and documentation programs. Key Responsibilities
• Support a variety of projects, including compensation program design, analysis, budgeting, implementation of new programs and royalty and equity sharing
• Act as an internal consultant to the HR team and business leadership regarding hiring, promotion, focal review and related compensation activities; communicate salary and bonus programs as needed
• Develop job descriptions, determine job grades, oversee salary surveys, and analyze market data to ensure company's competitive pay position
• Administer base pay and bonus programs, including annual focal review and bonus cycles 
• Manage projects such as survey participation and analysis and compensation integration for spin-offs
• Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 
• Coordinate with HR Business Partners to educate managers on compensation programs
• Work with HRIS and IT staff to ensure that the HRIS software system meets compensation needs and is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs and will be ready to deploy focal annually 
• Partner with HRIS in the development of a portfolio of dashboards and reports for People Analytics; evaluate metrics to maximize labor utilization rates 
• Assist with the development and rollout of communication plans for compensation programs 

• Must have a good understanding of broad-based compensation programs (base/bonus/equity), pay for performance, benchmarking/market data, job evaluation, etc. 
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of equivalent experience
Demonstrated analytical thought and advanced Excel skills 
Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
• Possess high level of integrity. Be widely trusted, direct and truthful, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and gain confidence
• Solutions and client service-oriented, with an emphasis on problem solving
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
• Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Oracle HCM experience a plus
