Position Description 

Sr Manager for Business Planning and Reporting will lead planning efforts for program related spend for one of our company's lead programs.
Will partner with Program teams to forecast investments and manage variance to plan on quarterly and annual planning cycles. 
Will work closely with Commercial forecasting and accounting teams to understand and incorporate short and long term forecasts including gross to net assumptions. Will collaborate closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs and other departmental business partners to lead and be responsible for annual planning, quarterly forecasting and long range planning. Will work closely with other regional Business Planning leads to ensure proper resource allocation for program spend across regions in a global, commercial environment. Will present program financial budget to actual results in planning, expertise area or management board meetings and collaborate with operational program teams to develop content accordingly.  Will partner closely with Accounting, Procurement and other groups across the organization to ensure requests are procured and accounted for accurately on company's financials. Will drive process improvements and efficiencies, identifying potential cost savings to make budget trade-offs. Will help drive financial education, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization. Will analyze data to explain trends and variances from budget and forecast to upper management and assist with special projects, as needed.

RATE:           $ Market Rate
Status:         Contract through 4/5/2019 with possible 12 month extension or direct hire opportunity

Skills Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, in a commercial company supporting a commercial stage product.
Able to think strategically, formulating actionable financial analyses and seeing them through understanding and compliance with applicable Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
Highly proficient in MS Excel; experience with SAP required
Strong work ethic and team player who is able to handle multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.
High degree of professionalism with ability to work sensitively with confidential material.
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills and comfortable communicating with various levels of management
Must demonstrate decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills required
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance related field required.
