Job Description:

  • The Industrial Engineer III will utilize tools such as manpower analysis, Take time studies, cycle time analysis and standardization to drive continuous improvements into the operations. 
  • Through the development process from initiation to implementation 
  • Kaizen events will be used to provide input on specifications, design criteria and quality processes. 
  • The Industrial Engineer III will follow established engineering processes to ensure Parts warehouse and internal corporate resources are

Additional Experience Requirements
  • 3-5 years of direct Lean utilization and experience.
  • Experience in Lean management through work experiences.
  • Experience in Project management.
  • Optimized in time and effort.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Ensure the proper utilization of engineering concepts throughout the corporate organization. 
  • Plays a critical role in design and implementation of CIP through engineering excellence. 
  • Equipment identification and recommendation including ROI analysis. 
  • Lean cultural leader.  
  • Using engineering principles, and available engineering tools, execute design analysis and evaluation of assigned lean projects to assure all products meet all lean methods and established industry standards.  
  • Improve quality through lessons learned activities utilizing lean concepts and post development meetings with program.   
  • Reports on project status, maintains records and files document per Lean department policy to maintain reporting and communications of development status.
  • Must be able to analyze issues in designs, systems and failure modes to find practical solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Root cause analysis in troubleshooting development and field issues.

Experience/Education:
  • Bachelors Engineering General Required
  • 4-6 years Required

CERTIFICATIONS
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required/Preferred
  • Lean Certification Required
  • Additional Certification Requirements

  • Computer Skills Reasoning Ability
  • Utilize complex computer operations and advanced
  • features of software packages Deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
