Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.: 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design.
General Comments
NOTE: Primary location is Charlotte. Secondary location is Minneapolis. Other WF locations will be considered for Ideal candidates. This is an urgent replacement position. Fraud Services is a core Java middleware application with multiple touch points with both internal middleware, GUI channel applications, system of records, vendors and customer facing applications. Need to have demonstrated experience as Technical Systems analyst supporting large "New" development projects for Distributed Middleware applications. Responsibilities: • Acts as a lead middleware application SME BSC (Technical Systems Analyst) to support and provide consultation to project teams, business partners, interfacing applications and development staff, utilizing an understanding of project requirements, existing application processing.flows. • Analyzes complex business requirements, assesses system impacts and writes Functional Specifications (FSD) to document application solution design based on project requirements, system impacts.. • Provides functional/technical design validation and business requirement insight to developers as needed with a focus on reliability, scalability, re-usability and efficiency in a middleware application • Self-directed and motivated to work in fast paced environment with minimum supervision needed • Develops technical system documentation. • Liaisons with off-shore BSC team, Technical lead and developers, QA testers to provide requirements, specification clarifications and to track / report development progress to the Project manager. • Supports SDLC project lifecycle through all phases and activities as a technical BSC Required Skills: • Core Java- background and project experience with Java based middleware systems • XML Schema - Solid skill working with XML Schemas and associated data mapping between Schema and data requirements • SQL - Above average knowledge • MQ - high level knowledge • SOAP - high level knowledge • Restful- high level knowledge • JSON- high level knowledge • Technical Project manager / leader skills - Nice to have Preferred Experience: • 7+ years of work experience • Fraud / Banking experience (@Wells Fargo ideal) • Flexible work schedule to work with off shore Development lead
