Location : Sunnyvale CA

Duration : 1 year contract with extension

Job Responsibilities

Work closely with TI Finance to understand their business problems and processes.

Understand how data can be applied to those problems and processes, and create appropriate analyses and tools to address them.

Work with Finance and Engineering partners to development infrastructure and tools, including data integration, data warehousing, reporting and analytics.

Use your independent knowledge, experience, and judgment to help inform a scalable data architecture strategy that enables Finance and Engineering to make data-driven decisions, based on the information needs of leadership.

Ensure cohesion around our suite of dashboards and data tables.

Help develop and grow our team mission and best practices.

Customize communication and output to a wide variety of audiences.

Provide interpretation of analyses along with clearly-stated information, representing both the team and leadership.

You will use data to inform financial and engineering development decisions.

You will provide visibility on key metrics, performance, and opportunities for scaling the world’s most intelligent infrastructure.

You will partner with R&D Engineering teams to shape and develop data architecture and build scalable solutions to automate the delivery of that data.

This role is fit for the naturally curious who enjoy diving into data to both ask and answer big questions.

You will work in close partnership with highly talented finance and engineering colleagues and consult on planning, reporting and decision support for the wide range of activities that affect products across.


BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, CS or any Engineering Degree

At least 3-5 years of SQL or other query languages

Proven database architecture experience

Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)

Highly driven, self-motivated, able to deal with ambiguity and change


Working knowledge of Python, Java and Javascript

Experience working with enterprise cloud databases

Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase financial tools

Experience with financial or supply chain planning 

Experience with Tableau data visualization and reporting
