Duration: Temp to Perm
Location: Either San Francisco or Palo Alto  (Possibility of working remote one day a week)  

The ideal candidate would be business savvy and well versed in various database to gather information from various data points/databases to determine trends, provide analysis, spreadsheets, forecast, etc.  The candidate should be proficient in SQL databases and database querying languages and other databases.  Tableau & SFDC are preferred but not required.  He/she should also have a strong desire to learn new skills.  

The Data/Business Operations Analyst will partner with the business leaders to provide Data Analytics’ and support.  In this role you will act as a strategic partner by providing Data Analytics’ from gathering information from various databases that will help the business make decisions to drive the business to the next level.

As a Senior Business Operations Analyst you will work closely with our finance, operations and sales teams. The overarching goal is to enhance our focus and accelerate our progress in the cloud platform market through a data driven approach. You will be using external and internal data sources to understand our progress to date and our opportunities ahead, by geography, by industry, and by company. You will provide insights to company executives to facilitate strategic decision making.

Required Skills / Experiences 

  • Analytical ability, creativity, attention to detail, problem solving, organization & prioritization skills 
  • Ability to liaise with multiple internal divisions and departments 
  • Desire and curiosity to understand company strategy and help move the needle 
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets 
  • Proficiency in SQL databases and database querying languages - required
  • Experience with data cleansing, mining, and wrangling 
  • Experience with multiple database; which could include; Tableau, SQL, SFDC, etc. 
  • Must be willing to learn Salesforce.com 
  • Experience with Excel pivot table/macro’s 
  • Must have good communication skill both verbal and written
  • Must be able to work closely as a business partner to Business Owners/Leads/Managers 

Desired Skills / Experiences 
  • Analytical background preferred 
  • 2+ years of related experience 
  • Experience with database design is a plus 
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus 
  • Google Sheets is a plus 
  • Google Doc’s is a plus
