Role Summary/Purpose: 
We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary project financial analyst to join our Finance team in Windsor, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of long term and point in time projects in accordance with internal control rules. 

Essential Responsibilities: 
As a Project Financial Analyst, you will: 
• Oversee financial performance of assigned projects 
• Drive technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification and operational excellence; deliver accurate financial results, reporting and analysis 
• Ensure project accounting is in accordance with Company guidelines 
• Manage and control revenue recognition process, liaise with the Project Team to ensure proper cost calculations. 
• Prepare and present project reviews throughout project lifecycle as needed 
• Analyze execution performance and propose action plans to improve contract margin and cash profile 
• Demonstrate proactive predictable financial management, reporting and forecasting that enables the team to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks in order to achieve or surpass financial metrics 
• Maintain accurate financial records throughout project execution reflecting status of projects to support the Project and/or Service Manager in making sound financial management decisions 

Minimum Qualifications: 
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline 
• Minimum of five years of related finance or accounting analysis experience 
• 3 years of financial experience working with Operations teams 
• Familiarity with SAP is a strong preference 

Desired Characteristics: 
• Project financial controls experience and global project finance experience strongly preferred, Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. 
• Strong MS Excel skills 
• Proficiency with MS Office 
• Knowledge of US GAAP 
• Knowledge of foreign currency transactions preferred 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently, proactively and meet deadlines 
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate to achieve common goals 
• Ethical, accountable
