Location : Mountain View CA

Duration : 1 year contract with extension.

Partnership Manager, Energy and Housing Programs The Hardware Partnerships team is looking for a business leader who can initiate, develop, and manage lasting relationships with top housing authorities, developers and stakeholders.

This will include full lifecycle opportunity development and management - developing awareness of, and support for Hardware partnership opportunities among key decision makers, program managers and other influencers in the space, as well as navigating contracting and managing launched business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will combine a passion for technology that drives consumer engagement, with a track record of successfully working within the housing industry and/or similar industry verticals...

Responsibilities:

Initiate, develop, and manage lasting relationships with top housing programs across North America to find new opportunities to increase sales of products

You will be expected to set both strategy and aggressive targets for pipeline development and cultivation

Responsible for driving pipeline growth - strengthen existing opportunities in the pipeline and identify, generate, and validate new leads for partnership opportunities, potentially expanding beyond the housing segment Lead partners discussions (executive level through program manager level) with partners and prospects to mutually define the winning partnership model.

Own the process of pitching, negotiation and contracting by closely coordinating with Legal, Finance and other stakeholders.

Navigate creatively both external and internal blockers to realize growth opportunities

Help define and articulate partner requirements (and quantify associated revenue opportunities) and communicate to key internal stakeholders such as product managers.

Manage and grow signed accounts with attention to detail and an eye toward expansion and renewal Own stakeholder management and engagement communications

Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine our Go-to-Market strategy.

Skill/Experience/Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of work experience in sales management, business development, or partner management.

3 years of experience working with utility programs or housing program experience

Self starter and team player with a high degree of enthusiasm;

Strong negotiating and closing skills;

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Desired

MBA preferred.

Love of a fast paced, informal environment where change and innovation are the norm Gifted at fostering long lasting relationships and strong communication skills.

Ability to present and convey ideas at multiple levels of an organization, including executives.

A track record of setting and exceeding challenging sales quota.

Ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems, and scale effectively across a large organization.

Self starter, independently driven Motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty

Must be able to travel (up to 40% of your time will be meeting partners)
