A global consultant firm headquartered in the U.S. with multiple locations in Japan and the U.S. is looking for hiring a Japanese Bilingual Account Executive.

The firm provides the niche consulting services to help international companies to launch their medical devices, manufacturing machinery, medicine, supplement products and other edible products with the appropriate U.S. licenses.

The ideal candidate needs to have a good communication skills to develop long-term relationships with clients, conduct in-depth hearing of their needs and product specifications, and be curious about the various businesses the clients are operating.

The company has grown exponentially for the last 15 years from the start-up and many motivated people gathered as employees by resonating the company’s mission and president’s business capability.

Essential Duties (Not Official: Please ask the interviewer for more details)

  • Taking care of incoming inquiries via phone or emails from the existing and new client companies. Some companies are from referral from the Japan office.
  • Making appointments with clients at their locations and creating proposals or any supplemental documents to provide information they may need.
  • Visiting clients, asking the business nature, products, situations, objectives they have, and making notes to share with internal researchers and analysts.
  • Creating the engagement letters or agreements to start the projects.
  • Collaborating with researchers and analysts to create the project timelines as well as the research and applications to government agencies are on time.
  • Keeping clients informed with the project status and solving any problems or concerns they have with the project.
  • Making sure the client’s products and services get the appropriate licenses to start their business line.
  • Providing the follow-up calls/meetings to ensure the client satisfaction and picking up the needs for the next projects.
  • Other related duties such as making approaches to new potential clients by cold calls and assisting President’s public events (seminars, conferences, university courses) may be included.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Motivation to learn various business and products with curiosity

Strong communication skills especially hearing skills to conduct consultative meetings

Positive attitude

Japanese bilingual skills
