Advantage Technical Resourcing is searching for a Technical Recruiter for one of its clients in the Palo Alto, CA area. The client is a world-renowned contract research organization (CRO) with decades of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with over 100 drugs having advanced to clinical trials.

The Contract Technical Recruiter will take the lead on a variety of technical requisitions across their company. Due to the nature of our client's varied and specialized research, their openings tend to be one-of-a-kind, difficult-to-fill positions. The successful candidate must have the desire to provide a rather "high touch ", somewhat customized approach to recruiting, as opposed to high-volume, cookie-cutter recruiting. The Contract Technical Recruiter will also recruit for non-technical positions as needed, and participate in recruiting-related projects.
--BA/BS or equivalent with at least 3 years of in-house or agency recruiting experience in a variety of technology environments
--Experience handling entire recruiting process from strategy meetings, sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, and offer negotiations, through to processing new hire paperwork
--Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems required; Kenexa experience a plus
--Creative and resourceful with multiple sourcing techniques to identify qualified and diverse candidates
-- Exemplary customer service approach with all levels of staff members and candidates; ability to build effective and credible relationships with hiring managers
--Possess curiosity, a desire to make a difference, and act with a sense of urgency, passion, and unquestionable integrity
--Ability to provide value-added insights on candidate evaluation and guide managers regarding broader organizational implications; partnering with HR colleagues as appropriate
--Propose and implement ongoing improvements to recruitment efforts
--Possess a strong desire to understand our client's business environment
--Ability to work in a team environment, manage multiple clients, and provide strong consultative skills throughout the search process
--Proven discretion and maturity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
--Ability to coach managers on interviewing techniques and writing job descriptions
