Job Description:

  • Support Sign off of Feature Level performance for a given vehicle via data exploration and analysis of data conducted as part of MOARTs. 
  • Work with feature/function, and V&V teams to understand metrics, use-cases, and develop tools/scripts to detect requirement failures 
  • Issue tracking in Jira and participation in regular meetings with responsible teams to track and report progress to management. 
  • Work with other Analysis engineers to develop the skills necessary to be productive in the analysis team. 
  • Develop and refine scripts, reports, and dashboards for ensuring proper feature-level performance across a variety of environmental and cross-carline noise factors for all driver assistance features between levels 0-3. o These scripts include detection of a failure at feature/function level. o The tools/scripts trace the failure to originating feature subsystem Develop and/or modify existing scripts for data extraction from the vehicle-logged data as needed. 
  • Support design verification plans by analyzing resulting data and delivering reports and/or dashboards showing compliance with internal and external requirements. 
  • Support and coordinate root-cause analysis with internal and external suppliers to ensure delivered system thrills our customers with the user experience via data-driven reports, signal-level traces, or other mechanisms. 
  • Develop innovative methods for analysis of Ford’s Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features.

Skills Required:
1 year software or algorithm design or software quality assurance experience

Skills Preferred:
  • Experience with ANY Advanced Driver Assistance Systems features (e.g, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre Collision Assist, Park Assist, etc.) 
  • Experience with GPS / GNSS systems including inertial navigation system validation. 
  • Understanding of embedded hardware and software design. 
  • Understanding of Kalman filtering, vehicle dynamics, linear & nonlinear control methods. 
  • Software engineering & algorithm development experience. Any development time in any language (C, C++, Python, Matlab, Simulink etc.) 
  • Experience with MobilEye EyeQ technology 
  • Developing and conducting laboratory and vehicle tests. 
  • Developing reports and dashboards using Excel, Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx or other industry standard tools.

Experience Required:

Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Controls, Computer or Software Engineering or Computer Science

Education Preferred:
Master's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Controls, Computer or Software Engineering or Computer Science
