Enterprise Database Management is the CoE for database management.  This position provides senior level capabilities relative to database administration for the company.  The person filling this position must be able to:

·Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

·Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.

·Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.

·Prepares specifications for system changes.

·Recommends and initiates systems testing.

·Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.

·Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

Minimum Qualifications

·10+ years of business systems analysis experience, design experience, or a combination of both

·3 to 4 years’ experience with problem solving reported application issues.

·3 to 4 years’ experience writing functional design documents.

·Strong Communication skills.

·Strong attention to detail

Additional Qualifications

·Solid BA experience, a working knowledge of database terminology and concepts (Oracle, SQL, Sybase, Informix, DB2, etc.), a sense of urgency, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.

·Experience with creating test scripts, executing test scripts, preparing test strategies based on functional design documents, and working with the HP ALM, quality center, test defect tracking tool

·Audit/compliance/risk experience preferred along with leadership skills (- Leading meetings, driving decisions, expediting projects, making adjustments, etc.).

·Strong reporting and data analytics skills (reporting, tracking). Documentation experience partnering to complete Project management methodology documentation (BRD generation, requirements gathering, PDD, planning input, etc.).

·Working knowledge of technology tools for change management.

·Scheduling, coordinating and assisting with change implementation.

·Partnering and Collaboration – partnering with project and cross-functional teams, organizational awareness, negotiation skills.

·Experience with complex technology projects such as tech refresh, patching or operational experience, testing experience, monitoring experience.

·Experience with creating test scripts, executing test scripts, preparing test strategies based on functional design documents, and working with the HP ALM, quality center, test defect tracking tool.
